Second grade, started reading and loved the way my teacher read out loud to us. -
Fifth grade, I loved reading the Warrior Cat books, because they allowed me to escape. -
Middle school was a time where I was in a slump for sure because I felt that It was a waste of time and developed a negative associate since I didn’t enjoy doing it in class.

Had a little bit of experience reading books that were related to curriculum in class, but I wasn’t reading for fun.

Took my first advanced english class where we read Animal Farm by George Orwell. Learned about rhetoric. -
Read more graphic novels and had more of an appreciation for illustrated books. I enjoyed manga during my junior year of high school. -
Passed AP Language in high school and began taking college level english in my senior year of high school. -
Started taking college courses, so I was reading a lot more out of textbooks and exploring a lot of peer-reviewed sources

Was reading much more textbooks especially for my psychology education courses and I was in a small reading slump as I was getting used to the content of all my courses. -
I have a strong passion for fantasy books and reading book series.
