In second grade I was obsessed with the Junie B. Jones books. My teacher would read them to the class and I had my parents buy me the collection. -
I remember in 3rd grade we had to do a research project for class. I could tell that reading was getting more challenging for me because I struggled with comprehension. -
I remember I started to do book reports for the first time and doing reading out of a textbook for the first time as well. -
I had found my love for reading when I read the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and the Hunger Game series. -
Although I find some topics I am reading about interesting, I have found that I don't read for enjoyment, but for learning.
