In middle school, I really didn’t enjoy reading. -
Advanced English classes pushed my understanding and encouraged me to be more analytical when reading. -
For my required reading, I would read Dork Diaries because it was easy and simple. -
In high school, I had to endlessly read textbooks which made me lean toward fictional drama when reading in my free time -
When I entered college, I read more historical contexts and had to learn to break them down. -
When I started to attend this University, I had to learn how to critically view primary sources.
