    The capacity of Kozani, a city with a population of approximately 42,140 located in the western part of the Macedonia region in northern Greece, can successfully integrate 400 to 2,000 refugees because our city can help them to affordable housing, job opportunities and services.

    Adequate accommodation is one of the most essential elements for the successful integration of refugees, as it directly influences their sense of safety, stability, and belonging. Also food processing and traditional product promotion, such as dairy products, herbs, and saffron can benefit the local economy and refugees for job opportunities.

My school can contribute to refugee integration in several meaningful ways. First, we can offer Greek language classes and intercultural education programmes that help refugee students adapt to the local education system and communicate effectively.
