Early influences
Tarantino writes in his autobiography about his many early influences. His mother use to take him to the theatre even as a young boy, although what he watched was not child friendly. He saw the film "deliverance" when he was ten years old. One of his influences was watching a double feature of "The bus is coming" and "Black Gunn" with his mom's partner Reggie. This is where his love of "Blaxploitation" films began. Steve McQueen and Clint Eastwood, are also amongst his early influences. -

End of film Career?
Tarantino has claimed on many occasions that he will only direct ten films, with "once upon a time in Hollywood marking his ninth, it seems his next film will be his last. -
