    Francisco Pizarro and his brothers travel to Peru in 1532. Between the years 1524 - 1526, small pox brought by Pizarro and his men devistate the Incan civilisation, 8 years before even making contact with the Incan people.

    In 1542, the Spanish Crown created the Viceroyalty of Peru, which was formed after the arrival of Viceroy Francisco de Toledo. Fancisco went on to destroy the rest of the Neo-Ican people and fully claim Peru.
