I was born on February 26th 2009 -
Went to kindergarden when I was around 2, met a lot of babies -
1st of September kids in Ukraine always go to school, it was my first day of school -
impacted me a lot, had to sit in a basement for a long time and celebrate my birthday there as well -
I became really mature since this day. I started taking things very seriously especially after seeing my mom cry because of how scared she was.
-
Like I said, i had to sit the whole day for my birthday in the basement under my school. -
My mom and I decided to move to my dad in Poland but the trip there was super tiring and long -
Lived there with my dad and mom in one room for 3 months before we got the opportunity to come to the U.S. -
I became really responsible in Poland because I usually had to do groceries by myself and learn a new but similar language by myself as well. I also satrted taking care of my duties around the house
-
My mom and I left Poland on June 10th and came to the U.S. on June 11th -
My first impression was that I felt like I was in a movie it was really cool but student used to like bully me a lot for my accent and looks -
When I went to highschool I told myself that I will learn better, speak and communicate better, and I did. I got a lot of friends in the freshman academy and the number keeps growing. -
I definitely learned a lot about Emotional Intelligene during this period of time and I still do. I talked to a huge amount of people and all of them were different so I think I got a lot of nice experiance.
-
I was trying to get a job the whole Summer but couldn't, at some point I lost hope when school started but I got a call back from Butera Market so I finally got a job. -
I definitely learned a lot how to manage myself and my time after I got the job, I had to combine school, gym, and work all at the same time so this taught me a lot for sure
-
I became really hardworking as well. I put a lot of effort into my schoolwork and work. Even when something is difficult for me, I stay focused until it’s finished
