This is the day I was born, July 16, 2009. A summer night. I don't know much about this but it is one of the most important event of my life, as it is where it all began.
-
As a part of my religion, the first step is christening, this is when as a child your parents and God parents renounce Satan, bring Jesus in your life, and wash away your previous sins.
-
For some reason this is a day I remember. This was a special occasion at my polish school where we were finally announced to be students of greater education. This was an entire ceremony type of situation with a big pencil symbolyzing this accomplishment. I look back on this day bacuase it is also one of the memories I have of the polish school I used to attend and wish I did till this day and was able to graduate with those who I had the honor of participating in this ceremony with. -
This is an important part in my religion, because a key element was confessing your sins for a clean slate asking Jesus for forgiveness. My first communion felt like a big accomplishment, finally being able to participate in the full mass. -
I have always had a fear of fish growing up, I never liked it as a food because I despised the smell, but one day my uncle took me fishing for my first time. After lots and lots of waiting and casting, my first catch almost pulled me into the water. I caught a huge catfish, and it felt like this huge accomplishment. I enjoy fishing now till this day because there is lots of peace in the activity and it is a way that me and my uncle connect. I will still not eat fish till this day. -
My first job had a huge impact because it required lots of responsibility and maturity. My first job was babysitting for my aunts neighbors. They mean a whole lot to me not as I watched and helped them grow up. I still till this day babysit them whenever need be because we built this great connection which II will forever cherish. -
I remeber always wanting a pet but living in an apartment always limited that childhood dream as one day my dad brought home our first pet, Speedy, a Russian desert turtoise. -
Growing up me and my sister always wanted a dog but we accepted our fate that our hope seemed impossible as we live in an apartment. In 2022 my dad decided that it was time that we were old enough for such a responsibility. Me and my sister split the cost of the dog, as our dad payed the down payment. On 1-22-2022 we drove down to Wisconsin to pick him up. We named him Toby and he is just part of the family now, and we cannot imagine our lives without him. -
In polish we call confirmation, bierzmowanie. This is and important sacrament in my religion as it is the next step. With this step I chose my patron saint, holy spirit by the name of Agnes of Rome (św agnieszka, Agnieszka Rzymianka) whose beliefs are of purity and self belief. -
This is a huge milestone as it is a part of my educational journey. Graduating 8th grade was a huge step in continuing my journey, my academics and everything started to be viewed more real as going toward success in my future as I am approaching highschool. It made me realize how much I was able to accomplish by that time, and the type of impact I was able to make. -
I decided to participate in this running event with my friend at the time. This idea of running for a purpose encouraged me a lot and event got me interested in running again. Growing up I used to do cross country but I took a break from it, and after participating in the event I decided to begin running again, where my sophomore year I joined the Taft Track and Field sprints team which had a big impact on me. -
Sophomore year had to be one of the best years, especially looking back at Friday night lights, football season. This was a time that everyone would come together and just enjoy themselves. This was also when I began reaching out more socially and taking pictures for sports, deepening my love for photography. -
My family comes from a small town in Poland near Rzeszow, we never go visit areas around. I finally got a chance to visit the capital of Poland, on my own without my family around. This helped me learn greater responsibility, and built realization of my desire for travel in the future. Being able to see all that I never got to see. I was also able to just picture myself in Poland when I am older, possibly even studying there. -
This was the end of my first track season, I cherished it so much because it brought lots of memories. This will definitely be the most memorable as it was very delayed due to weather and safety concerns but we still went on, starting the meet at 9:30 p.m. and not coming back home until 2 a.m. -
This was so much fun, I was always scared of these larger environments as some people don't know how to act at times, but the atmosphere was amazing. I was able to see so many on my favorite artists preform live while spending quality time with my sister which I dont get to do very often as we usually have so many differences.
