Personal Game Timeline

  • PopOMatic Trouble/PopIt

I chose to put this game down because it’s one of the first board games I remember playing when I went camping with my family.
  • Crash Bandicoot (Playstation)

I put this game down because this is one of the first video games I played and one of my first consoles.
  • Mariokart Wii (Wii)

Mario Kart is a game I played with my family, mainly my sister very often. We used to take our Wii from home to our grandparent's house so we could play up at their house, it was one of the few games that would run on their old TV.
  • Animal Crossing - Wild World (DS)

This is also another game I would say inspired me to make games as I really like the animal crossing series. I played this a lot with my sister and cousins.
  • Pokemon - Diamond (DS)

Pokémon Diamond was the first Pokémon game I played and I used to play with my friends at primary school. I think this was the game that got me into game design as even though I might not have finished it, I really enjoyed playing with my friends.
  • Legend of Zelda - Link Between Worlds (DS)

This was my first Zelda game I played and made me want to keep playing more of the series. One thing I found was because I always played it later at night after school, I never finished any of the games because I was worried I would have nightmares from the boss battles so I went and did all the puzzles but never did the boss battles which now I find really funny.
  • Looney Tunes - Duck Amuck (DS)

This is a game that my uncle bought for me. It was a very interesting game because of the way you interact with the game and I absolutely love it.
  • Animal Crossing New Leaf (Nintendo Switch)

This game was something I played with my friends and cousins quite often, I loved making sure I upgraded all the stores.
  • Overwatch (PC)

Overwatch was something I played in high school with new friends, it was fun to play with new people and understand them better through this game.
  • Undertale (PC)

This game is very popular and one of the first main indie games I played. I can’t wait for the next game from Toby Fox to come out, I really like his style in visual design and music.
  • Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild (Nintendo Switch)

I played this game a few years after the release but really like the aesthetics of the game and the new added mechanics they added compared to the older games.
  • Final Fantasy 14 (PS4)

This was one of the first major Final Fantasy games I played. I played it by myself at first but then some friends got it and I really liked it. It is an online game so sometimes I would be waiting for more than 2 hours for a mission but I mainly stopped playing because it was a paid subscription.
  • Animal Crossing New Horizons (Nintendo Switch)

This is a game I was really excited about, I pre-ordered and picked it up on the day of release. I think this was just before an exam at high school and so this was kind of a reward for me. I hope they release more updates for the game, I really miss the coffee shop from the old games.
  • Final Fantasy 12 (Nintendo Switch)

This is the game I am playing currently. I kind of replaced Final Fantasy 14 with this as when I bought it was on sale and in the long run is cheaper to play and since I got it on my Nintendo Switch it ended up being a game I could play on the go. I really like this game so far, I really like the art, mechanics and storyline (even if I don’t completely understand it as of yet).
