Paul was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at St. Pauls Hospital.

Paul attended the American Community School for half of his first grade. His parents then moved him to Bingham Academy for the rest of first grade and the remainder of his elementary school years. Bingham Academy is located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and is run by the Sudan Interior Mission.

Paul's graduating class only had five students in it.

Paul attended Rift Valley Academy for four years during which he played both soccer and volleyball.

Paul's graduating class numbered exactly ninety and had at least thirty different nationalities in it.

Paul enrolled at the University of South Alabama primarily to ease into college life and to be near extended family.

Paul's father is an Auburn graduate and he planned to follow in his footsteps and become a veterinarian.

Paul's has a life changing epiphany and realizes he is meant to be a teacher. He enrolls at the University of South Alabama in the college of education.

Paul graduates with honors with a bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Paul has a call to missions and agrees to serve in Kenya. Paul serves in Kenya at Rosslyn Academy as a 6th grade Science and Math teacher and coach.

Paul is currently on a one year sabbatical to spend time with his extended family after being gone 7 years and to get his Alabama teaching certificate reinstated.
