    A long, 6 month battle between the American and Japanese soldiers that made the fight hard. A well achieved win came to the us forcing the Japanese to leave the island and to establish the future island hopping in the us future.

    It was the largest naval battle I history between the us and the Philippines. It causes the Japanese navy to weaken severally.
  • Iwo Jima

    a brutal fight that caused over 7000 American soldiers to pass and over 20000 Japanese soldiers to come to their graves. also known as the second bloodiest war in the ww2.
  • Okinawa

    Okinawa was the final and bloodiest battle in the Pacific. the us invaded Japan and causes a massive bloodshed of over 250000 casualties.

    the us bombed the cities on Aug 6 and Aug 9. Marking the very first time atomic bombs were used in war, killing thousands of people and contributing to the end of the war

    The Emperor of Japan at the time declared defeat and signed to the us saying they were getting out of the war.
