    Hitler is named the chancellor of Germany. He begins gaining support from the citizens of Germany. He helps the people of Germany out of poverty. The allies get worried.   • The Axis Powers United

    The Axis Powers United
    Italy and Japan join the Axis Powers with Germany posing as their leader. The Axis powers planned their attacks. All 3 of them got their armies ready. They prepared them for all out war. The allies are still worried but take no action.
  • WWII Has Begun

    The main two allied group of nations declare war on each other. This starts world war 2. Hitler and Mussolini are succeeding their conquering of Europe.     Atomic Bomb Begins It's Creation
    The president and the government approve to fund the creation of the atomic bomb. The idea of the bomb is first shown by Leo Szilard. He is a former Austro-Hungarian but flees Europe due to the war. He works on a project for the atomic bomb. It's called the Manhattan Project.
  • Attack on Pearl Harbour

    The Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor, to keep the U.S out of the war. It backfired, and the U.S joined the allies and declared war. Japan and Germany now had the U.S to worry about.     D-Day
    The allied powers invade the European mainland on the western front and succeed. From there it is mainly success for the allies. This is the climax of the war, or the turning point. Before this the war has mainly been huge losses for the allies. But they finally have an advantage after a while.

    The Battle of the Bulge
    Germany tries to make its final try to turn the tide of the war on the western front. They succeed at first by a lot, but the allies manage to push them back. At this point Germany has almost no hope. Germans begin to worry about their welfare. They begin to surrender to the allies.
  • V-E Day the Fall of Germany

  • The First Atomic Explosion

    The first atomic bomb was tested as a success. The president began to make plans of where to bomb. He chose Nagasaki, and Hiroshima due to the fact that Japan had lots of military there.   • Hiroshima is Hit

    Hiroshima is Hit
    U.S pilots carry the atomic bomb to the city of Hiroshima and drop it. Therefore killing tens of thousands people in an instant. Leaving thousands more to die later from wounds and/or radiation exposure. This killed tons of people. As did the Nagasaki bomb that was soon to come. These were the only atomic bombs deployed for war purposes ever. They also are the only ones that ever have been deployed on another country.
