Ned Kelly was sent to jail for receiving a stolen horse. His uncle gave it to him without him knowing it was stolen.

Constable Alexander Fitzpatrick entered Ned's house to arrest Dan Kelly without a warrant. But they were not home. Dan came home later that day with Ned and Constable Alexander tried to arrest Dan, but instead got knocked over in the head after he threatened to shoot them. Constable Alexander then took this matter into court and claimed that Ned tried to kill him.

He died on this day. He tried to live a good life but it never quite happened. He tried to show people that he had a good heart, but it didn't true until many years later after his death. He was only 25 years old when he died and his last words were " such is life"
