    In the middle of the 19th centry, the large number of immigrants came into America and it occured the anti-immigration movements. Those movements were called nativism which took its name from the "Native American" parties. In this time, it is thought that native in America is not American Indian but the inhabitants of the original Thirteen Colonies.

    In 1850, Charles B. Allen founded a nativist society called Order of the Star Spangled Banner in New York City. It was a secrer society.
