Getting baptized
When I was maybe 7 or 8 I got baptized. I feel like that helped me get closer with God. And looking back I'm really glad I did it. -
my first "real relationship"
I had a girlfriend, lets call her Amy. Me and Amy started talking when we were in the 7th grade. We actually liked each other. We were together for little over 2 years. We were a good couple but then one day we were getting really dry. She figured I was giving her enough attention, So we broke up. It was no bad blood or anything. But I still feel like it wasn't 50/50. -
staying with my cousins in st louis
Recently I went to St Louis for like 3 weeks. While I was there I visited the arch and Busch stadium. I saw a bunch a things I don't see everyday since I stay in the country. But while I was there I was kinda homesick, I didn't hear a train horn every 30-45 mins. But when I got back it was weird because it was only trees and dogs barking. -
Not making the basketball team
I didn't make the basketball team 9th grade year, I made myself realize that if I can't do basketball that I need to do something else. 9th grade season came and I became the manager and I guess you can say editor for the team. I got to go on the road with the team and everything. -
My uncles passing
When my uncle passed away it made me realize how you can take your time with people for granted. Because maybe 2 or 3 weeks before he passed we were talking on the phone. But the day of his funeral I didn't cry I didn't feel a type of way. But when I saw him in a casket if hit me. I sobbed for a little bit but then I was done. Months later it was me and his birthday and even though I was celebrating he was on my mind.
