Birthdate
I was born on December 14th, 2009, in Ann Arbor at 12:24 PM but I was actually supposed to be born on New Years Eve. I weighed 6 pounds and 4 ounces. I had four siblings waiting for me in the hospital lobby. I was the fifth and final child of my parents. My name is a combination of my great grandmother and grandmother's name. -
First Ballet Recital
I was very nervous to be up on stage. My grandparents came all the way from Michigan to watch me and brought me flowers. I loved dressing up for recitals and loved the costumes. My sister and mom would help me with my makeup and hair backstage. My mom would also take me to the same candy shop after every dance practice we had. -
Moved To Texas
After I finished preschool in South Carolina, me and my family moved to Texas that following summer. The first day we arrived in Texas we got locked out of the house when we first arrived at the house. When we moved to Texas my oldest sibling was a senior in high school and my sister was a sophomore. Moving was pretty difficult for my siblings and even my parents because they all had strong relationships built in South Carolina. Since I was so young, I personally was not affected much. -
First Day of Kindergarten
I attended Walnut Groves Elementary School in Texas for my first day of kindergarten. This was shortly after we had moved from South Carolina to Texas. I stayed at this elementary school for 4 years. My teacher was Ms. Paschall, and she is still one of my favorite teachers to this day. She taught me how to read and write. -

Girls On The Run
Girls On The Run is an organization that strengthens girls in third to eighth grade their physical, emotional and behavioral skills to adapt in new life situations. This was a running club that ran official meets once a week for three months. I ran for this organization during my third-grade year. My mom and a lot of my friends ran alongside me so that made this experience even more enjoyable. I had a lot of fun doing this and learned a lot of things I needed to know for the future. -

Family Vacation to Costa Rica
On this trip we did numerous outdoor activities. I loved getting to kayak and go horseback riding through a river. The scariest thing we did was go on a boat where crocodiles practically jumped into our boat while the guides fed them. This trip was by far my favorite vacation that we've took as a family. Our last family vacation was in 2021 but were going on another one this year. I love all the places we've been on for vacation, but this was by far the most beautiful and fun. -
Moved Schools
I moved from a public school to a small private school with a class of around 12 students. I stayed at this school for my fourth and fifth grade year in 2019-2021. To this day fourth grade is my favorite year. During my fifth-grade year our desks had to be pretty far apart, and we have a plexiglass barrier on our desks due to COVID-19. Overall, I enjoyed attending this school a lot but unfortunately there were some conflicts with my classmates and the education I was receiving. -

Quarantine
When COVID-19 hit I was in fourth grade. We were online from March to August and then went back to in-person school at the beginning of my fifth grade year. Online learning was pretty difficult for me and my mom had to help me with a lot of my assignments. Each day we only logged onto Zoom for two hours so for the rest of the day so my mom taught me for the majority of the day. I appreciate that my mom always stepped in to help and tried to be patient with me when I didn't understand. -
Moved Schools Again
I moved from a private school to a larger Christian private school. I attended Fort Worth Christian during my sixth and seventh grade year before we moved away to Michigan the following summer. During these two years I tried out a lot of different sports including soccer, basketball, track, volleyball and cross country. -
First Track Meet
I was so nervous waiting for the gun to go off, my stomach was in knots. It felt so good after the race was over because all my nerves were out. I loved being on the team because I made a lot of friends from the experience. My favorite events were the 200 and the 4x200 and 4x100. I've done track for three years now and I really enjoy it so much. -
Brothers Wedding
I was 12-year-olds when my oldest sibling, my brother, got married. I was a bridesmaid in his wedding being the only family member in his actual wedding party. I was really nervous walking down the aisle. I'm very close to my brother's wife. Dancing after reception was one of my favorite parts because I had a lot of fun. -

Moved to Michigan
In October of 2023, me and my parents found out that we would be moving to Michigan after I finished 7th grade. This left my two older siblings, most of my aunts and cousins in Texas. But my grandparents lived in Michigan, so they were pleased to hear we were moving up. I had lived in Texas for majority of my life, so I was pretty devastated when I heard this news. Getting settled in Michigan took a pretty long time but I love it here now and wouldn't want it any other way. -
Baptism
On this day I decided to publicly declare my faith in front of my entire church. I was baptized as an infant but wanted to make the decision for myself. This is my most important event in my life to date. I loved hearing the other people who were getting baptized share their testimonies. I hope to model the life of Jesus in my everyday life. -
Sister's Wedding
I was 14 years old when my sister got married and was also the only family member in her wedding party. We flew down to Texas for her wedding a week prior (her wedding was on a Saturday) so we could help her prepare. Me and my whole family love her husband very much and am very grateful for him to be a part of our family. The day before her wedding, my sister walked right into a door and it left a pretty bad mark on her face. She was pretty upset but the makeup artists were able to fix it. -
First Day of Highschool
Before I came to Northwest, I attended Notre Dame Prep which is a K-12 school but decided to leave because it just wasn't the right fit. In my eighth-grade year, I was originally supposed to go to Our Sheperd Birmingham but changed my mind last minute. I'm incredibly happy at Northwest now and am very happy I made the change. Northwest has a real sense of community unlike my previous school, and I am very grateful for that. I've made so many great friends already and I can't wait to make more.
