New Super Mario Bros. Wii
New Super Mario Bros. Wii was a game released for the Nintendo Wii in 2009 by Nintendo. It was one of the first video games that I have played and probably was one of the games that started the hobby for me. I have a very vivid memory of me and some of my family members sitting in front of the TV, trying to beat the last level of the game, so this game holds a special place in my heart for how nostalgic and fun it was to play. Lego Marvel Superheroes
Lego Marvel Superheroes was a 2013 multiplatform game developed by Travellers Tales. I have nothing but fond memories of this game, being able to play this game alongside my Dad as me and my younger brother argued over who got to play the game with him. Other than that, the game itself was very fun and engaging for my 6 year old brain. Travellers Tales, 2013, Lego Marvel Superheroes, video game, PlayStation 3, Warner Bros. Minecraft
Minecraft was one of those games where it was very difficult to put it down once you picked it up, Safe to say, I could barely put the game down when I was younger. Minecraft really helped to inspire my creativity and was one of the key games that ignited my love for the hobby and the art form. Mojang 2011, Minecraft, video game, PC, Mojang -
Five Nights At Freddy's
Five Nights at Freddy's was released in 2014 by Indie Developer Scott Cawthon and become a phenomenon not just to me, but to the entire world. Back to me, FNAF changed my point of view on horror games as a whole. The world, the characters and the hidden lore inside the games enchanted me from the beginning of the series until now. Overwatch
When Overwatch released, it took the world by storm and exploded the hero-shooter genre. For me, this was the first game where strategy and competitiveness became thoughts in my mind as I was playing, so it stands out to me significantly. Fortnite
When Fortnite released, it became my obsession, along with most people I knew. The feelings that this game can give you while your playing, it's a mix of both excitement at the possibility of getting a win or mindboggling nervousness and the possibility of fumbling the win, so right from the get-go, I was hooked. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Although I didn't play this game until a while after its release, I'm so glad that I did eventually decide to play it. To this day, it's still one of my favourite games of all time. The experience playing this game blind and having the amount of freedom that you have in this game is amazing. I wish I could experience what it was like to play this game for the first time all over again and then some. God of War (2018)
My first experience with this game was watching one of my favourite YouTubers play it and I absolutely loved it, so much that I wanted to play it myself. Once I did eventually get my hands on a copy, I played it from start to finish and had a blast. The story in this game is a masterpiece and all the references to the previous games in the franchise were excellent, even though I didn't get them. Elden Ring
I bought this game not long after its release due the hype surrounding it but dropped it fairly quickly for other titles that interested me and because I was scared of failure due to the games difficulty. Eventually, I decided to pick the game back up and attempt to fully finish it and absolutely fell in love with the game. The world and characters are absolutely breath-taking. Baldur's Gate 3
When I heard that they were doing a RPG game done with a DND gameplay style, I was sold immediately, and the game did not disappoint. Playing the game felt like playing an actual DND campaign but virtually. The characters absolutely stole the show for me, I love how well they were cast and how each of their mannerisms was captured in-game. Persona 5 Royal
I had heard previously about this game and how good it was so once it was in sale, I decided to buy it and give it a try. I had a extraordinary time playing it. Playing the game makes you feel like your actually in Japan, navigating through all the subway stations and visiting various places across Tokyo and the characters, their stories and all the struggles they've gone through to get to the point they reach at the end of the game. Marvel Rivals
Ahh, my latest obsession. Marvel Rivals so far has been an amazing experience and a blast to play. It felt like booting up Overwatch again but this time with dome familiar characters from the Marvel universe and some new faces I hadn't seen before. I've had a lot of fun playing this game both on my own in competitive and with friends in quick play or goofing off in custom matches.
