Pokémon Red
Pokémon Red was one of the first Pokémon games series and was also first video game I ever had in my life. I still remember how I was excited when my parents gave me a yellow Gameboy and this game software as a Christmas gift. Game Freak 1996, Pokémon Red, video game, Gameboy, Nintendo.

Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros. was a fighting video game on Nintendo 64 and was my favourite game. I used to play this game after school with my friend who lived next door. I remember that I had never gotten bored playing this game because it was a simple game which you could choose popular characters from various games and knock your opponent off the field. Super Momotaro Dentetsu DX
One of the Momotetsu series in Japan. This game was created based on Japanese board game "Sugoroku" that is similar to Monopoly. This game used real Japanese public transportation and regions as the setting, so It was not only fun to play, but I liked it because it made me feel like I was traveling all over Japan. Softball
Softball is physical sports invented as "indoor baseball" in 1887 by George Hancock. As a child, I loved going to baseball games with my father and playing catch. I remember that one day, I realised that I really enjoyed playing by myself rather than watching it, so I decided to join a softball team. Hancock, G 1887, Softball, sports game.

Daifugou (Career Poker in Japan)
Career Poker, known as "Dai-fugou", means "Super rich people" in Japan, and is one of the most popular card games. It was very popular among the members of my softball team, and I remember playing it whenever we had free time. The rules are simple, but I'll never forget the competitive feeling I got when I lost. Mario Party 9
Mario Party 9 was a video game on Nintendo Wii in 2012. I played this game when I was University student, with my research team members. This game contained 7 game board and more than 8 minigames. I think it was a great game because players could choose which game played among different type of minigames so no one person keep winning and everyone could enjoy it. Disney TsumTsum
Disney Tsum Tsum is a mobile puzzle game that I still play from time to time. I got my first smartphone when I was a college student and started playing this game. I started playing it just to kill time during my long and boring commute to school, but the simplicity of the rules and the charm of the adorable characters still soothe me. Pokémon Go
Pokémon Go links to geolocation, so you can experience the sensation of walking around and searching for Pokemon physically. I think most interesting part is that the items, battlefields, and Pokémons are linked to places. I started playing this game to help me get some exercise during the COVID-19, but it also helped me feel connected to friends by exchanging gifts or battle.
