She was born into nobility and at 15 she started pursuing a religious life. She had been experiencing visions since she was a child and at the age of 43 she started recording them as the poems she had written. -

The switch from Baroque to Classical happened over the course of 30 years from 1730 to 1760. The transition between the two musical eras happened when the new style of Classical took over Baroque.
