  • Wannsee Conference

    This was a meeting that was disscused about attacking poland.
    They had this meeting to decide if they wanted to exterminate the jews or not.
    It casued the holocaust causing jews to be killed and separated from there familys.
  • Nazis take the sudetenland 1938

    Hitler takes over the sudetenland because he knows that there are Germans in the Sedetenland and if he takes it over he would have enough power to take over the Sudetenland.
    The Sudetenland contained 3.5 million Germans who had been cut off the rest of Germany.
    The loss of the Sudetenland was strongly opposed by the Czuchoslovak goverment as the reigon contained a vast array of natural resources, as well as a significant amount of the nations industry and banks.

    Blitzkrieg was a certain war plan that could wipe out bases and towns by using Tanks, plans, and artillery along a narrow front.
    it was the best tactical plan and the fastest way to clear an emeny site.

    The battle of Britain was a battle that was mostly fought in the air between the Germans and Britain in july 1940 to may 1941.
    The battle happend because Germany still had one more major enemy left that they wanted to take out.
    THe british ended up wining becasue the germans couldn't take their tanks over to british so they had lost.

    They thought that the U.S. was a threat and we were goin to foil their plans to attack on indochina so they planned a surprise attack.

    The Germans and Soviet union had a huge war full of artillery the invasion had about 3,000 tanks, 7,000 artillery pieces,and 2,500 aircraft it was in effect the largest and most powerful invasion force in human history.
    Hitler knew he had to invade russia eventually so he sent all the ground forces he had sitting around to invade the Soviet Union.

    Allies landed in northern france opening the long-awaited ''2nd front'' against Hitlers army to drive them out of France.

  • battle of the bulge

    The allies knew that germany would be weakest at this time.

  • Liberation of concentration camps

    Concentration camps were camps that jews were in when the Nazi's took them from their homes and country.
    Hitler established the camps because he needed somewhere to put the jews and he wanted them all to be exucuted .

    The camps caused jews to be separated from their families and over 1 million jews to be killed.

    VE day was the day to mark the date when the World War II Allies formally accepted the unconditional surrender of the armed forces of Nazi Germany and the end of Adolf Hitler's Third Reich, thus ending the war in Europe.
