Martin Luther was born to a peasant stock on November 10, 1483. He vowed to be a monk when he was 21 years old in 1505, also while he was a monk he posted his 95 theses talking about how people can't pay for their sins to be forgiven and can only be forgiven by worship and giving yourself to god in 1517. Martin luther then criticized the church and was excommunicated by the pope causing him to go into hiding in 1521 when he was he lived for 66 years the died on february 1546 .
