    Lafayette arrived with his crew in South Carolina. When he arrived he went to go meet with General Washington where he receives commission as Major General. The two get on well and respect each other dearly.

    Gen. Washington's troops were being attacked by British soldiers near Chesapeake Bay. The British where coming at them too strongly so the Americans retreated in panic. Lafayette tried to stop the panic but failed at found himself being shot with a musket ball on his left calf. He was treated well and recovered quickly.

    France signs a treaty of alliance to come help the colonists in America. Lafayette feels like now they have a really good chance at beating the British.

    Britain finds out that America and France have joined forces so Britain declares war on France. This means that Lafayette is now fighting for the colonists AND France.

    After the expedition to Canada was a fail, Lafayette met up with the Iroquois Indians because they were an ally to France and fought against the British. With Gen. Schulyer, they signed the treaty of friendship with the Indians.

    Lafayette and Gen. Washington fight in the Valley Forge against the British. Lafayette showed great skill in being able to deceive the British by having the snipers change positions after every shot to make the enemies feel like there were more people. They did a good job at tolerating the harsh conditions, with limited food and clothes, with Washington and Lafayette coming out strong in the end.
  • The climax of Revolutionary war

    The Battle of Yorktown; lasted for 2 months against the British and American colonists. The British were massacred forcing Gen. Cornwallis to surrender his army. This was the end of the Revolutionary War leaving the Americans feel accomplished.
