He asked the bird if he would see his wife again and the bird said nevermore. -
The room started to smell like perfume and the man said the bird was sent by god to make him forget about his wife but the bird said nevermore. -
The man started to scream at the bird to leave but it said nevermore again. -
The raven never left and it is still on his door forever.
