The group, Little Rock nine, fought their way through Centeral High. Now their presented with statues showing the effort they put in from all these years.

On September 15, 2007 in Centeral Arkansas. A gas station was remodeled into a Little Rock Nine visitor's center. Inside the center it shows photographs, articles, and tells all the events that happened during the 1957's with the group, Little Rock Nine.

Jefferson became the first of the Little Rock nine to die. Jefferson died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 67.
