Every night, since I was 1 or 2, my dad read the kids bible book to me until I was able to read it myself in pre-school/elementary school -
When I entered elementary school, my dad encouraged me to read everyday for 30 minutes. -
Around 3rd grade, I read the book Smile, I immediately fell in love and soon read almost every book by that author. -
Soon after, I fell in love with comic books, and read 1 a day. -
In late elementary/ early middle school I found english class really easy and did very well and that continued on. But going thorugh middle school, I stopped reading books out of school completely because it was "boring". -
This was my favourite english class, and the most fun. My teacher made the class very interesting and I loved all of the books we read. -
The summer going into 9th grade, I really got into reading. I would go to barnes and get 2 books every week and would fly through them. That year I got a kindle oasis for Christmas. With the kindle I was finishing 300-400 page books a day. -
Now, I feel fully prepared to take this class, and I am excited to see whats to come
