Lots of culture shock. Very difficult period, and I never really felt at home. Strange school experience. -

Moved to Orlando and did a semester long internship that mostly served as an escape from the real world. My roommate became my best friend. -

I went underway on a submarine for the first of many times. I dealt with a litany of undiagnosed mental health issues, was overworked and exhausted, but also made many lifelong friends. -
Six month western Pacific deployment. We made several stops in Guam and spent some time in Singapore. The last month in particular was incredibly difficult. -
Right as COVID-19 shut the world down, my terminal leave from the Navy began. All of my post-Navy plans were completely shattered.

Got my first taste of online school due to the pandemic as I restarted my college journey.
