    Luadan published a very influential book, Progress and Its Problems, on 1977. He argues against both empiricism, Karl Popper, and Revolutionism, Thomas Kuhn, and instead proposes that science is an evolving process that accumulates evidence while also resolving conceptual anomalies. He's essentially challenging the idea that science is a problem solving activity and questions the historiography and methodology of science.
