Amir admits he and Baba get along when he says,"It was good and i believed it would last.And Baba believed it too, I think"(87). Amir and Baba's move to California has aided their relationship together more positively.

Hassan and his wife are crushed by the fact that they cannot bare children telling Soyraya parents which is disapointing especialy for Afghan religion.
