He is Solomon's son. Once his reign is established he and all of Israel decide to turn away from the law of the Lord making Judah and Israel split. Shishak takes away all of their golden shields and makes them his servants. -
A young prophet is sent by God to denounce Jeroboam's idolatrous altar in Bethel, and is given strict instructions to not eat or drink anything. An older prophet lies and says he is instructed to give him a meal. The young prophet gives in to this deception and is killed by a lion on his journey home for disobeying God's direct commandment -

King Ahab wants Naboth's vineyard but Naboth refuses to give it to him. Ahab goes home and sulks in his room, refusing to talk to anyone. Jezebel comes up with an evil plan and hires 2 men to lie about Naboth to the leaders so that he might be put to death. Naboth is stoned and Ahab takes possession of the vineyard. -
Reigned 8 years in Jerusalem. Ahabs daughter was his wife. He did evil in the sight of the Lord. In his days Edom revolted from the rule of Judah.

All the people of Israel gather on Mount Carmel. Elijah specifically asks the people who they believe in. As a test they sacrifice bulls and the worshippers of Baal cry out to him and cut themselves profusely from morning till noon. Elijah mocks their god saying "He must be sleeping!" God send down fire from heaven and burns up the sacrifice and the rocks and sucked up the water on the altar. -
Ahab tells Jezebel about Elijah killing all the prophets of Baal, and she wants to kill him. He runs into the wilderness and asks God to kill him. While he's sleeping an angel comes and makes him food and he just eats it and goes to sleep again. A second time the angel comes and prepares him food and it gives him strength for 40 days and 40 nights for his journey to Mount Horeb. -
He feared the Lord greatly, so he hides 100 prophets in caves and cares for them with bread and water after Jezebel cuts off the Lord's prophets. -
He reigns one year over Jerusalem. His father was Jehoram. He also walked in the ways of evil. He goes with Ahabs son Joram to make war against Hazel king of Syria. Joram gets wounded and Ahaziah goes to visit him when he is sick.

He did evil in God's eyes. Elijah prophesied he would die after falling through a lattice and Ahaziah sends messengers to ask a god if he will recover. When he does Elijah confirms he will surely die for seeking guidance from an idol. -
Naaman is the commander of the Kings army, but he is a leper. A kidnapped slave girl tells Naamans wife about Elisha. He goes to the king of Israel with a bunch of gifts and asks him that he may be healed. The king tears his clothes and sees this as a means for war. Elisha hears of this and tells him to send Naaman to him. He instructs Naaman to wash in the Jordan 7 times and he will be healed. At first he refuses, but after his servants are persistent to him he finally obeys and is healed. -
Elijah is taken up into heaven by a fiery chariot and Elisha is persistent and stays with him even when Elijah asks him to leave. Elijah asks him what he wants from him and Elisha asks for twice the amount of power Elijah had to be given to him. -
They prepared for war and in the morning they saw that the water was red like blood because of the sunrise. They mistook it for blood and figured that the kings already fought against eachother so there was just the spoil left over to be collected. As they went down to the city they were defeated because they were unprepared! -
Elisha comes to Gilgal during a famine. The sons of the prophets go out and gather food to make a stew. One of them got some gourds and put them in. They try it and realise it is poisonous. Elisha sprinkles flour in it and cures it making it safe to eat. -
Elisha meets a wealthy woman who makes him some food. He comes back another time for more food. The woman proposes to set aside a room in their house for this man of God. Elisha is very grateful and lives with them. The womans child dies and she runs to Elisha. Elisha lays on the boy and brings warmth to his body, after sneezing 7 times the child opens his eyes. -
He is wounded by a bow and arrow but by the time they get out of battle he already bled out. Dogs licked up his blood and the prostitues washed themselves in it. -
There is a severe famine in Samaria, so bad that people are eating dove dung and even killing and eating their own children. Elisha declares that tomorrow at that time there will be so much food that people will practically be giving it away. The captain of the king doubts his words. He is punished by not being able to eat any of it and is trampled and killed by the lepers when they break into the city. -
Elisha warns Israel about the Syrians because they are camping near. The king of Syria is annoyed since Elisha knows all of his plans and he sends an army at night to kill Elisha. Elishas servant wakes and sees that the army is surrounding the city. He asks what they shall do!? God opens his servants eyes to see the army of the Lord. -
When Jehu comes to Jezreel, she hears of it and gets herself all made up and pretty and stands by the window. She taunts him and he throws her out the window and the horses trample her. They go back to bury her and she is gone except for her skull, feet, and the palms of her hands. This fulfills that God said her flesh would be eaten by dogs. -
When Elisha comes to Damascus Ben-Hadad tells Hazael to go and take 40 camel loads of gifts to him in hopes of recovering from his sickness. Elisha tells Hazael to give the news that Ben-Hadad will recover even though God told him he will die. Hazael stares at him until Elisha bursts into tears. Elisha tells him all the awful things that Hazael will do since he is going to be king over Syria. Hazael returns and tells Ben-Hadad the news, but the next day he takes a cloth and kills him. -
Elisha called one of the sons of the prophets to him and had him take a flask of oil to go to Ramoth-gilead. When he gets there he told him to take Jehu in private and annoint him king over Israel, then he is to leave immediatly. -
She is the queen of Judah for 6 years who is the mother of Ahaziah. She destroys all the royal family of the house of Judah in order to seize the throne. -
He was hidden by his aunt Jehosheba in the temple for 6 years from his grandmother Athaliah, to save him from being killed. Then he becomes king when he is 7 years old. He reigns over Judah 40 years.

He reign over Israel 17 years. But he did what was evil in God's eyes and caused Israel to sin. God's anger is kindled against him and he allows them to be given into the hand of Syria. His army is diminished greatly. He prays to God and God sends a deliverer to help them.

Amaziah sends messengers to Jehoash asking him to face him in battle. Jehoash however does not want to fight and asks instead that Amaziah give his daughter in marriage to his son. Which would therefore seal an alliance between them. Amaziah doesn't listen and Jehoash attacks and captures Amaziah in battle at Beth Shemesh. Jehoash goes to Jerusalem, breaks down the wall and takes all the gold and silver from the temple. -
A band of Moabites is burying a man who died and they see an army coming to invade them. They hurriedly throw his body into the grave and as soon as he touched the bones of Elisha he is brought back to life. -
He reigns 16 years over Judah. He also did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. All the sins he commited did not depart from the wicked ways of Jeroboam.

He reigned over Judah for 29 years. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He killed the officials who had murdered his father, (the king). He defeated 10,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt and captured Sela in battle.

He reigned over Israel 41 years. He did evil in God's sight. He restores the border of Israel as far as Lebo-hamath to the sea of Arabah.

He reigned 52 years in Jerusalem. Went to war with the Philistines and broke through the walls of many cities, he also built in the territory of the Philistines and Ashdod. His fame spread all the way to Egypt and he was very successful in battle. He grew very pirdeful of his victoryies and accomplishments.

He reigned over Israel in Samaria for 6 months, and did evil in the sight of the Lord. Shallum the son of Jabesh conspires against him and kills him, reigning in his place.

Reigned over Israel 10 years in Samaria. He also did evil in God's eyes. The king of Assyria came and he gave him a thousand talents of silver. Then exacted the money from Israel that every man gave the King of Assyria 50 shekels of silver. He goes into Tiphsah because they would not let him in and made an example of them by ripping open all their pregnant women.

He grew very proud and thought he was above rules. One day he enters the temple to burn incense, but 80 priests follow him and consult him that only the priests are worthy to burn incense to God. They tell him to leave and he becomes angry. Immediatley leprosy breaks out on his forehead and he is rushed out of the temple. He remains a leper until the day of his death. -
Reigns in Jerusalem 16 years. He did righteous but the people still continued in their corruptive ways. He builds the upper gate of the house of the Lord, cities, forts, and towers in the hill country of Judah.

Reigned over Israel 2 years in Samaria. Did evil in God's eyes. Pekah his captain conspires against him with 50 men of Gilead and kills Pekahiah.

He reigns over Israel in Samaria 20 years. Also did evil in God's eyes. Hoshea the son of Elah killed him and reigned in his place.

Reigns in Israel 9 years. Was an evil king. The king of Assyria comes up against him and Hoshea pays him tribute in order to keep peace between them. But the king of Assyria doesn't buy this quick act of settlement and instead shuts him up bound in prison. Then he invaded all th land and held Samaria captive 3 years.

He reigned in Jerusalem 29 years. Started reigning when he was 25. He was very faithful to God, and trusted in him. Even destroyed the bronze serpent when the people were continuing to woship it.

He sends letters to all of Israel, Judah, Ephraim and Manasseh to come to the house of the Lord to celebrate to the Passover and Unleavened bread. When they gathered for the feast he gives the assembly thousands and thousands of animals to offer. -
He becomes sick and Isaiah the prophet comes to him and tells him that he shall die. Hezekiah hears this and turns his face to the wall and prays to God to heal him. As Isaiah is walking out God tells him to turn around and tell Hezekiah that he heard his prayer and he will live 15 more years. The sign is whether the sun will be moved forward or backward ten steps. Hezekiah chooses that it be moved back 10 steps. -
He reigned 55 years in Jerusalem. Was 12 when he started to reign. He was known as the most evil king Judah ever had and rebuilt altars to Baal but also built altars to God!? He practiced in witchcraft with fortune tellers and mediums, and burned his son as an offering. He gets captured by the Assyrians and surprisingly turns to God in his time of need and repents.

He reigned in Jerusalem 2 years. Was evil like his father Manasseh, continued in idol worship. Abandoned the Lord and did not walk in his ways. His servants conspired against him and killed him.

Started reigning when he was 8 and continued for 31 years. Now he did what was right in God's eyes and didn't turn aside either way of evil. Destroyed many many idols and altars in many cities. Repaired the temple and burned the bones of the priests.

While the money is being brought out to be put in the house of the Lord. Hilkiah finds the Book of the law of the Lord. He gives it to Shaphan and tells him to take it to the king. Once the king hears it's words he tears his clothes realising his fault. -
The king of Egypt comes up to fight the Euphrates and Josiah goes out to meet him, but disguises himself as a normal fighter. He is shot by an archer and is taken back to Jerusalem but dies soon later. -
Reigned in Jerusalem 3 months, and became king when he was 23 years old. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord. He is put in chains by Pharaoh Necho so that he could not reign. Instead the Pharaoh made Eliakim king in place of his father king Josiah. And his name was changed to Jehoiakim. Meanwhile Jehoahaz is carried of to Egypt, where he dies.

Was 25 years old when he began to reign, and reigned in Jerusalem 11 years. Also did evil in God's eyes. The king of Babylon invaded during the time of his reign and took hold of Jehoiakim. But he rebelled against him. The Lord sent Aramean, Moabite and Ammonite raiders against him to remove him from his presence for his wickedness.

He reigned in Jerusalem for 3 months at the age of 18. Also walked in the ways of evil. The officers of Nebuchadnezzar laid siege on the city and had complete surrender. Jeoiachin is taken prisoner by the King of Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar removed the golden treasures from the temple and lead all of Jerusalem into exile. He took Jeoiachin and his mother, his wives, and officials to Babylon. Then he made Jehoiachins uncle Zedekiah king in his place.

He began his reign when he was 21 and reigned in Jerusalem 11 years. He was evil also evil. He rebells against the king of Babylon. The king comes and surrounds the outside of the city. The famine in the city became so severe that they broke down the walls and fled. He is separated from his soldiers and is captured. They kill his own sons before his eyes, bind him, and put out his eyes. After 37 years in exile he is released.

He is a Judean nobleman who is appointed govenor by Nebuchadnezzar after he destroed Jerusalem. He is given the responsibility of leading the remaining Jews in the province of Judah. He is later assassinated by Ishmael ben Nethaniah, leading many Jews to flee to Jerusalem.
