Karen Brewer is in second grade in Stoneybrook Academy. When her and her friends get to class their teacher tell them that there will be a special spelling bee. The winner will have a chance to compete against other classes and then maybe other schools. -
Karen and her friends are excited so they go home to study. -
The next day is the spelling bee. Karen and her friends compete in the spelling bee and Karen wins. -
After the spelling bee Karen goes home and let's her family know she won but then starts acting like a sore winner and is not so nice to her brother. -
Karen competes against other schools and wins. -
Karen keeps bragging about winning and some of her friends dont like it. -
Karen goes to another spelling bee and the bragging gets worse. -
The teacher notices that Karen is bragging to her friends so she talks to Karen about how to be a good winner. -
Karen continues to brag her and and her friend gets in a argument. -
Karen goes to the last spelling bee but this time she loses. In the end she realizes that its more important to be a good winner and a good person.
