    118 farms, homes and businesses were destroyed. In Andale, 12 were killed as half the town was damaged. In Sedgwick, 8 were killed. Two were killed near McLain and one in Elbing in Northwest Butler County. At the time, it was the fastest tornado on record. With a track 65 miles long, this meant the tornado was in progress for 1 hour.

    This tornado hit a large part of the kansas state capitol building and also most of the town around it. It was the coatliest natural diastsrer in kansas history costing 100 million dollars and destroyed 820 homes and damaged 3000 others.

    This Tornado was a catagory F3. It tore through a air force base that complelty destroyed most of the school, hospital and part of the housing area. The tornado was 46 miles long and has 300 million dollars in damage.

    This tornado completed a lope around a couple different towns. 95% of greenburg was completl leveled. This Tornado is still being talked about today. It was also the first magnitude F5/EF5 tornado to occur since the Moore, Oklahoma F5 Tornado of May 3, 1999; an incredible twister that contained speeds of around 315 mph. It costed 250 million dollars in damage.
