jospeh and he crew had big targets while flying there main focus where getting factories, marshaling yards, oil refineries, storage areas, harbor and airdromes in Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria and the Balkans. all strategic strategies. -
After being liberated from the camp, Joseph was hospitalized for his injuries until December. After his return to the United States, he spent 3-4 months in a hospital in England General Hospital. -
alot happend during this year after his terrible plance crash he was capture for 9 months and had terrible living conditions he was a prisoner-of-war camp in northern Poland called Stalag 4 -
after war, he got married and had two sons he also worked at a bank for 20 years before retiring in 1988, he also made two trips back to Europe.

Joseph lived a great life and died peacefully. at the age of 95 in 2019 in a living center for elders. this center was for veterans.
