The raven just sat there silenced. The narrator whispered, "Other friends have left me before tomorrow this bird will leave me too". Then the raven said, "Nevermore" again. -
The narrator was surprised on how the raven quickly replied. -
The narrator sat there thinking about the ravens eyes staring at him. He leaned back into his velvet cushions. Then he realized the women he loved wouldn't sit next to him ever again. -
The air around the narrator started to thicken and he smelled sweet perfume. -

The narrator went back inside with his heart racing he heard a tapping at his window. So he opened his window and said "its just the wind and nothing more". -
He opened the window wide and a giant raven flew in. it flew across the room and sat on a statue. -
The narrator's soft and sad sound of his curtains moving the wind filled him with a fear. The narrator kept saying to himself that it was just someone knocking at his door a late visitor. -
He first smiled at how serious the raven was and the raven said one word. "Nevermore,". -
The ravens presence made the narrator extremely calm. He began to think what a dark and strange bird meant by only saying, ''Nevermore''. -
The narrator told the Raven to leave and never come back.
