  • Alien Enimies act

    This act was used to deport immigrants if their home country did something to the US or if "alien enemies deemed dangerous to the public health or safety of the United States by the Attorney General or Secretary of War . Such as sfter pearl harbor all Japanese were sent back home.

  • Chinese Exclusion act

    This act excluded all Chinese from migrating to the US. The US felt that the Chinese treatened us. So for 10 years Chinese laborers were not allowed to come to the US.

  • Immigration act

    This limit the number of immigrants that could come over to the US per year. There were exceptions for certain people that could enter as "non-quota" immigrants, such as wives or children under 18. The "quota immigrant" had a limit on how many could migrate each year.

  • Intelligents Reform and Terorism Prevention act

    This act was passed after 9/11 so it was made to try and prevent terrorism. It made it harder for immigrants to come to the US. It created diffuclutly for immigrants or people that helped illegla immigrants.
