If were a free white person that lived in U.S. for 2 years with good character would become citizen by taking a record of it. If were a child under 21 years of age then automatically had citizenship regardless of birthplace. -
Chinese Exclusion act
Excluded chinese from migrating to the U.S. for ten years becuase the workers were seen as a threat. If people were caught brining people into the country it would be a $500 fine. -
Displaced Person's Act
People who were fleeing places because of the war could come to America and stay as long as they were a good citizen staying out of jail keeping a job and there families could stay as well. -
Secure Fence Act
Reinforcing fencing at the southern border.
