    My older sister started to go to school so when she would come back we would play school, she was the teacher and I was the student, she started teaching me the alphabet and words in English

    My little sister was about 2 years old, so I started to teach her the alphabet and a few simple words.

    When my little brother was around 3 he would only speak Spanish and did not want to learn English, so I started to speak to him only in English so he would learn it and also be able to understand his teachers at school.

    In 4th grade, 2nd graders came down to our classroom and each 2nd grader chose a 4th grader to work. I was a 4th grader and I had to read a book to a little girl.

    During covid, my little sister had a lot of trouble with learning to read and write words, and learning through a device made it harder so I would always help her read words, sound them out with her, and write words

    I felt like I was getting better at English in 7th grade because I was in ELA honors and in in 10th grade I was in English II honors which made me feel that I was capable of improving my English and getting better at writing essays

    I have always had trouble with English but now I feel like I have gotten a bit better at it and hope to improve my English even more
