Aristotle was taught his philosophies from Plato, one of the greatest philisophers ever. He was the first to suggest that atoms were in nonstop movement and that the world cosited of 4 elements, earth, fire, wind and water. There were no tets to see if this theory was correct he pretty much just said an idea, and since he was smart and well respected people believed him.

Henri Becquerel was born into a famil of physicists. His grandfather and father were both, so to no surprise he folowed their footsteps. While studying the effect of x-rays on photographic film, he discovered some chemicals spontaneously decompose.

He discoverd electrons and isotopes. He won the Noble Prize in Physics for his discovery of the electron and his work on the conduction of electricity in gases.He used cathode rays to prove that there were electrons in atoms.

Marie Curie was married to other scientist, Pierre Curie. They together discovered the isolation of polonium and dicovered radium. They were both inspired by my boy Henri Becquerel.

He is the father of nuclear physics. He concluded that atoms get their charge from something inside the nucleus. He later named it the proton. He used the gold foil experiment to prove his theory. Rutherford was also the first to succesfully split an atom.

Bohr made contributions to the understanding of the atomic structure. He was influenced by Rutherford for his work on atoms also. He actually recieved the Nobel Peace Prize in 1922 for his work on the structure of the atom.

James Chadwick was the first to dicover the neutron in 1932!! Rutherford was also his influence.
