The number of people that can be succesfully integrated varies from city to city. A large city with a big population can house more refugees than a small city or even a small island. So Kozani, If we take into account its population, could probably house around 7000 people, if we follow Tilos's example/model.

For Accomodation, there are lots of options we can think of. Using Portakabins, like tilos does, or building refugee camps. However, offering any vacant or abandoned houses and the non govermental organizations undertaking the rent is more reliable and overall, the better choice. By offering vacant houses, we don't have to build anything, but also, the refugees will have a better expierence than in other countries.

By housing refugees in our town, we can benefit too. Refugees will undoubtably be a huge help to small towns and islands, where the population is low. They will provide enough manpower, to start a business based on the islands funds. The locals and the refugees can team up to create this business. They can also invite the refugees to help in farming, which is the mainstay of the area's economy. This will create employer opportunities for them, further helping them create a stable income.

There are various ways that our community can help refugees adapt to the enviromment and our local school can also help. By providing refugee children with lessons in the greek alphabet, we can help them integrate into the society faster. We can also donate old toys that we don't use anymore, old clothes that we grew out of and also, food. By doing that, we are helping them tremendously, as transitioning into another country is really difficult.

While housing refugees might seem unbeneficial to some, there are also some benefits to the local community. Like we mentioned, small towns with small populations will gain more people that can help them build a business. The Economy will also benefit from refugees, as they will recieve an allowence that will, most likely, be used on local shops. They can enrich the local population's culture, giving it a diversity that few communities have.
