Around 3500 BCE in Mesopotamia they first created the wheel -
Then around 3000 BCE it became put on carts. However people then put seats on the front and used them as a way for transportation -
Then around medieval times they used the horse and buggy to transport people into battle making them grow increasingly more popular

In 1500 another version called the coach was built, it was 4 wheeled and has 4 seaters and gets pulled by 2-4 horses -
Then from around the 15 to the 19-century people started to make the horse and buggy into more of a four wheeled vehicle

Around 1850 the horse and buggy was introduced to America -
1914- 1918 (ww1), horses' roles were varied. They had a large contribution to the war including carrying and pulling supplies, ammunition and artillery.

Between 1920 and 1939 states, and other countries, began to go through a 23 years to transition replace the buggy with gas powering cars.
