    Democritus said that you could cut something in half and cut that part in half and so on. Democritus did no experiment he just made hypothisis.     Daltons Atomic Theory is that all matter is made of atoms. He thoght that atoms were put into patterns based on the element. Dalton's law of partial pressures says that the total pressure of a mixture of gases is the sum of the partial pressures of the various components. He discoverd this in 1800.     Thomson Discovered the Electron.He made the Plum Pudding Model. In his experiment he used Cahoue rays and showed the electrons.Also that it was electricly charched. He discovered this in 1903.

    Rutherford added the Nuclus. He used the Gold foil experiment where the paticles went thorgh the gold foil. This was discovered in 1911.

    Bohr
    Bohr added orbits that electrons went on. The experiment was using quantum light by watching them asorb the light if they jumped to a smaller ring and emmited if they jumped to a bigger ring. This was discovered in 1903.

  • Heisenberg and Schrodinger

    Heisenberg and Schrodinger
    Heisenberg and Schrodinger found that the orbits were hyperactive and didn't just stay in orbit. This experiment was done by shoting a photon an electron and when hit it didn't follow the laws which gave the Heisenberg uncertanty princible. This was discovered in 1920.
