The Transatlantic Slave Trade
The Transatlantic Slave Trade or Triangle slave trade saw between 10 to 12 million enslaved Africans across the Atlantic ocean to the Americas to between the 16th and 19th century. The trade began after Europe saw a great labour shortage after the devastating effects of the Bubonic plague which killed 25million Europeans (that being a third of the continents population) and the Spanish conquest of India encompassed Africa trading slaves to America, those slaves then were -
