The curriculum of the universities had to be approved by the church. 5.Medieval scholars idea of the cosmos was based on the core same idea as Aristotle’s and Plato’s cosmos.

    Hildegard of Bingen experienced visions from a young age, most of her work came from these visions, her work for the time was visionary and included music, literature, plays and letters. She was popular for her healing, most notable was that she cured the blind using Rhine water. Hildegard of Bingen died in 1179 but centuries later would be recognized by the church as a "Church Doctor" and saint to some.
