Hesiod's "Theogony" offered the first written version of Greek Mythology.

Hesiod's "Theogony" is a poem describing the origins of the Greek. He describes it coming from 4 primordial beings. Tartarus, Gaia, Eros, and Chaos.

The Classical Period

480 BCE

This was the the height of Greek civilization, including the Persian Wars, the Peloponnesian War, and the rise of Athens and Sparta.
