  • Period: 800 BCE to 1200 BCE

    Nga Kakano (First Polynesian Settlers and their immediate descendants)

  • Period: 16 BCE to 19 BCE

    Te Puawaitanga (the earliest European explorers and settlers of Aotearoa recorded the features of Māori classical society and culture)
