It contained all of his different beliefs and political views, while explaining different plans that he had to change the world or actions he wished to take in ww2. It gave “official” insight for the people to know what they would be ruled under during this Second World War.

    The dust bowl didn’t have a definite confirmed “start date”, however we know it was in 1930. Caused by the over saturation of soil, the dust bowl refers to the era of dust storms that plagued the central U.S. farmlands for years; causing widespread drought, not allowing for farmers to grow an abundance of crops, while killing livestock constantly, too. Additionally, these people would have to live in filth daily as their homes would be ridden with dirt and dust constantly.

    As the public’s love for Franklin D Roosevelt rose, they believed he would lead them out of the Great Depression. Subsequently, he was elected by a landslide to replace the previous president that had been in office when the Great Depression initially started. He proved to be such a help to and symbol of hope for the nation that he would be re-elected many times until his death at the age of 39.

    When Hitler was titled the Chancellor of Germany, it started the era that would permanently impact the world and Germany’s government forever. He would completely lead the country into fascism and create the nazi party, wiping out a vast amount of the population reaching outside of Germany’s borders, even. The devastation caused by this man’s power would be detrimental, forever changing the world and causing new discrimination everywhere.

    The Berlin Olympic Games in the summer of 1936 would prove to be one of the most influential Olympic years to this date. During these games, Jesse Owens would win 4 Olympic gold medals in 4 different events as a black individual. Eventually it would make a big impact politically, too. This man’s winnings would soon anger Adolf Hitler, seemingly making a statement.

    Kristallnacht translates to “night of the broken glass”, aka the night that the nazis would go on a pogrom against Jews; invading homes, shops, and wherever else they could find Jews while causing widespread destruction of infrastructure and people alike. The night gets its name due to the trail of broken windows that they left behind.

It would highlight all of the hardships that came with migrating through all of these dust storms, with the book winning awards along the way.
