    She moved to Sydney when she was 14 to receive professional training.

    Evonne Goolagong turned pro at the age of 19 and won 7/21 of her tournaments.

    On Evonnes first year on tour she surprised the tennis world by winning the french open.

    Straight after winning Roland Garros (french open) Evonne won Wimbledon ladies singles.
