One of the most famous incidents of the Concorde was the Air France flight 4590. During takeoff, a piece of metal which fell from a DC-10 cut of a piece of one of the Concorde's tires which was launched up and hit the wing at about 140 m/s causing a massive shockwave which damaged a fuel tank which ignited.
