    Adolf Hitler showed the Nazi party that he was powerful, so they appointed him as leader of the Nazi Party. And Hilter began a system of authoritarian control.

    The Kellogg-Briand Pact was an agreement to stop war. It was signed to prevent furthur wars, but it did little-to-nothing to stop the rising of militarism and WWII.
  • Japan invades Manchuria

    Right after the Mukden Incident in China, the Kwantung Army of the Japanese Empire invaded Manchuria. They created a puppet state named Manchukuo, and occupied it until the end or WWII.

    The Enabling Act was a constitutional amendment that was passed in Germany. It gave the German Cabinet the power to enact laws without involving the Reichstag (parliament of the German Empire).

    Congress passed this to stop the export of "arms, ammunitions, and implements of war" from the US to other foreign countries that are at war. And manufacturers were required to apply for an export license.

He was criticized by many people for running for president three times in a row, but there was no rule that a president couldn't serve for more than two terms. Roosevelt believed it was his job to continue serving and leading the U.S. all through the crisis in Europe.

    During WWII, as fighting was going on in Europe, black men were not aloud to have many jobs. They were mostly janitors and porters. So the black leaders called a meeting in Chicago, and decided to march on the White House. In response to this, President Roosevelt issued an Executive Order that stopped discrimmination in defence agencies. Randolph then called off the march.
