The Nazi-Soviet Pact, also called as the Non-Aggression Treaty and some other names, was an peace agreement between Hitler and Stalin. This was a big shock to the world because Hitler and Stalin obviously hated each other and fascism and communism did not go together. -

Before this battle, the Germans were planning on another plan called the Operation of Sea Lion to invade England, but due to their loss in the Battle of Britain, the plan was never able to get carried out. -

The Victory in Europe Day, also known as the V-E Day, is the day when Germany finally, formally announces their unconditional surrender. This is the day when war in Europe finally ended and is officialy a publiic holiday now.
