  • Battle of France

    German forces began attacking France, and despite resistance, france's army fell.On 22 June 1940, the Second Armistice at Compiègne was signed by France and Germany.
  • Invasion of Poland

    Nazi Germany invades Poland, which initiated the war. The plan was to take over the country and exterminate it's citizens.
  • Dunkirk Evacuation

    German forces ended up trapping multiple allies on the north of France, with commander General Viscount Gort setting the plan to save 40,000 allies. Fortunately German forces did not attack the trapped allies during this time.
  • London Blitzkrieg

    Germany began mass air attacks on London for 56 days. Despite 40,000 people dying, this does not deter London from attacking.
  • Italian Campaign

    And event where Italy nearly split due to some Italians joining the Germans while others joined the allies.
  • Battle of Stalingrad

    Considered the bloodiest battle in history. It was the Germans vs the Red army, with the soviets winning.
  • Normandy landings

    After tricking the German forces on the locations and times of the Allies, this plan had to be delayed temporarily. However on the 6th of June, the allies attacked via aerial assault.
  • Operation Market Garden

    The First Allied Airborne Army were dropped via parachutes and gliders in German territory. They were to infiltrate and take over until land forces arrive. It succeeded in most except the most important part.
  • Battle of the Bulge

    Was the last major German attack on the Western Front. They had a massive advantage due to the terrain and weather, however they still lost.
  • Victory in Europe day

    The unconditional surrender of the Nazi forces. This was turned into a holiday.
